Remember we cleared the not so loved bottle brush in preparation for greenwaste a couple of weeks ago?? What do we do after clearing it? We need to replace it with something right! So hubby spent many days researching & thinking through what to plant...We would have loved to have a Japanese Maple , but unfortunately, they don't thrive well in open areas. In much disappointment, hubby did more research...Finally, we have decided on a Snow Pear. It doesn't bear edible fruits, as it is an ornamental tree...It was shopping time and it was so much fun going to nurseries, admiring all sorts of different plants....
Here's our Snow Pear....We are officially proud parents of this tree...:)
Hubby working hard preparing the soil for planting...
Tada, it belongs to the family now!
With the new tree at the front, we need to somehow tidy up the garden...The kangaroo paws are all over the place and after much thoughts, and with the help of our neighbour, all kangaroo paws have been removed. Reason being -> Kangaroo paws do not need a lot of water & tlc, but snow pear does...So here it is with the ground cleared...
Now, what's next?? Stay tune for more gardening updates!
