DIY

In a country like Australia, one would have to be pretty handy, knows all the 'How to' -> cook / clean / fix things / gardening, etc etc, as labour cost here is very high....Unlike Malaysia / Singapore where we can get a gardener to do some work at nominal charge or a servant to clean our house on a daily basis.

Hubby & I have spent our saturday morning doing gardening. Once every 4 - 6 months, our council will have junk collection, white good collection and greenwaste collection. The greenwaste collection is happening next week, so it's the perfect time for us to get rid of our not so loved bottle brush. The main work was done by hubby, the chain sawing, digging of roots...I did weeding, cleaned up the front porch a little and sapu leaves.....

After a couple of hours of hard work in the morning, both of us are very very satisfied with the outcome! Let the pictures speak for itself..:)

Before

After - Just the stump left. The next challenge was to dig out the roots!

The branches & greenwaste are left on our verge. Council will pick them up. Bye bye bottle brush!

Hubby working hard in digging the roots.....He has put his army gortex boots into good use in this instance.
