Home sweet home!!! It's really so so good to be home. It's just something about home, the smell of your home, the smell of your bed, everything is just so familiar!
Finally reunited with Mou Mou. He was so excited till he peed when he first saw me. He looked healthy and heard he had a wonderful time with our friends!
Highlights for this Singapore / Sabah trip:
- Both hubby & I took a total of 7 flights in the short span of 3 weeks
- Hubby & I got upgraded to BUSINESS CLASS from Perth to Sing! That was a big bonus! I noticed 3 other couples got upgraded too....
- Terminal 3 in Changi Airport opened on the 9th of Jan, which was the day I flew back to Perth. You have to go and experience it. It was amazing!!
- My parents have been to and fro Tawau airport for 13 times! This include my 2 brothers' arrival and departure to and fro Tawau, and Eu Lynn's arrival and departure. For the sake of those who don't know, Tawau airport is around 30 - 45 min from the city. In Sabahan's standard, it is FAR! :)
- Good time with both sides of parents
- Caught up with some close friends of mine in singapore
- Caught up with Uncle John & Aunty Mary Chan in JB. They were so kind to bring us all the way from JB to my mother in law's house door step!
- Eating....eating......eating.....and eating....
- Shopping
- Stay @ Le Meridien in Kota Kinabalu & Intercontinental in Singapore - Nothing beats home though!
Lessons learnt
- Humility and willingness to listen & learn are some of the greatest characters required to be successful in life. From my dad
- Have faith that God is taking care of everything. From my father in law
2008 brings...
- Greater challenges ahead. Not too sure what but am sure God will reveal them one at a time
- Change of lifestyle - being more healthy by doing more exercise / outdoor stuff
- Being a piano teacher part time
- Inflation on some groceries items! Hahaha....i discovered it this morning when i went groceries shopping
